Mojos were mythical charms containing special powers, supernatural amulets which protected from evil or evoked karma. The irony here is that there's nothing metaphysical about the way the Mojo winemaking team create their Fizz, a funky name for a great sparkling. The combination of superb terroir, careful handling of pristine grapes and thoughtful handling achieves a youthfully fruit driven Pinot Chardonnay in contemporary, easy to appreciate styling. Serve chilled and leave the strawberries out, there's enough of that flavour in the wine already.

PinotNoir PinotMeunier Chardonnay / Champagnes, Epernay / France
Moët et Chandon re-ignited the imagination of connoisseurs and enthusiasts with the charm of its exceptional Cuvée Rosé, by achieving top marks at the inaugural London Wine Festival, purely on the basis of overwhelming popular appeal. Not until the 1990s was Moët available in shocking pink, not until very recently under Picollo. The exceptional character of Cuvée Rosé, its inimitable colour, rich effervescence and uncompromising ability to refresh, flatters the approachability of this very special wine in miniature.

Taking pride of place in the pantheon of great Australian fortifieds, Hanwood is an exceptionally smooth and mellow, rich Tawny Port. An assembly of luscious wines which have been ageing in small oak cask for up to sixty years. Great care is taken at the blending stage to achieve an average age of ten years as opposed to five, which is the practice for most other Ports.
